Working closely with our clients, we make sense of and meet their security requirements by providing them with exceptional guidance and support.You will hone your skills in prospecting, negotiation and large project business development and use your security focused mindset to make strategic decisions. You will build and grow your portfolio, while maintaining TELUS’ s reputation of exceeding customer expectations.

As an Account Manager (Commercial Sales), you will offer innovative integrated security solutions to commercial enterprise customers in various markets. You will have access to the latest technology and industry trends in order to ensure our customers have secure facilities for their employees, customers, and assets.





You are the missing piece of the puzzle


You are likely in a similar position today, with many of the characteristics and experience points, below:


  • Security industry experience is preferred (proficiency in access control, intrusion detection, CCTV products and concepts)
  • Understanding of estimating cabling and labour to deliver project requirements
  • You contribute to the team’s success with a work hard play hard attitude
  • You are a self-starter, someone who will hunt, prospect, search and close opportunities
  • Cross-functional team experience ensuring seamless flow of the project
  • Ability to provide value engineering alternatives to the specified scope and design
  • Experience outlining and marking-up floor plans
  • Own a vehicle and valid driver’s license


While leaders have a premium on industry experience (i.e. physical security vendors/integrators), we'll certainly consider and engage with candidates who have good general sales backgrounds, especially those who have successfully sold technology products and services on a monthly recurring revenue model.
