The National Security Enablement (NSE) team, which consists of experienced analysts, consultants and recent graduates who exemplify the TELUS values, is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, driven, and bright students currently specializing in Business, MIS, Engineering or Computer Science. Students interested in telecommunications with a passion for solving complex business problems, honing leadership skills and working on a fast-paced, fun, and challenging team is the ideal candidate.

  • Drive operational and strategic projects and programs to deliver on business goals
  • Identify and drive operational improvements to TELUS by working with members from different areas of the organization and gain hands-on experience on a variety of end-to-end projects, giving you a chance to own your work
  • Develop, implement, and evolve our performance analysis and reporting capabilities in partnership with various stakeholders, vendors, and other TELUS teams
  • Build business cases and execute to provide solve complex business problems
  • Using data, technology and business analysis skills to measure and analyze NSE KPIs that support Smart Security and Automation objectives
  • Present results of analysis to a variety of levels including managers, directors and VP’s
  • Ensure data, tools, platforms, processes, are properly integrated and maintained to support business solutions, reporting, analysis 
  • Build advanced analytical and statistical models, and forecasts focused on operational metrics, and business drivers with the goal of increasing understanding, insight, predictability, and accuracy

  • Progressive experience as a business analyst.
  • Engaging a broad set of stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team
  • Leveraging strong business acumen, business case development, analytical and problem-solving skills to support business solution initiatives
  • Data management, visualization, advanced knowledge in the use of productivity tools, such as Google and Microsoft
