The Finance Treasury Office is a diverse team with various portfolios that all drive critical outcomes for TELUS team members and the business. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys complex business problems to join the team as a Business Consultant. This role requires advanced experience in Business Analysis coupled with strong logic, strategy formulation and implementation to enable project delivery. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the Treasury Office, Finance and TELUS.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Work alongside the Director, Enablement to deliver on strategic priorities determined for the Treasury Office
  • Develop and implement best-in-class processes, tools, and systems for various processes in Treasury office including M&A Funnel Management
  • Be a trusted advisor leading various projects and manage change effectively within the team and across cross-functional stakeholders by
  • Leading the development of informative dashboards to report on project status including M&A acquisitions, providing executive leaders with clear insights
  • Collaborating with Treasury office leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness business-critical initiatives
  • Facilitate and support strategic discussions and recommendations at the director and VP level utilizing presentation proficiency and storytelling expertise
  • Facilitate Team Integration by working closely with leaders across Treasury office to foster collaboration, alignment, under a unified vision

 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in process methodologies, development and implementation
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Confident and in your element when unpacking a business problem; With a reputation for project execution excellence and achieving results in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Sought out for innovation in process improvement
  • Develops structure and provides guidance across the organization
  • Proven track record on leading and delivering complex process improvement projects

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in Finance and accounting
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with senior executives
  • Minimum of 5 years of advancing work experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $80,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
