The TELUS Door-to-Door and Complementary Channels (D2C) team is part of the Home Solutions Community & Channels group at TELUS. We are a customer-focused and results-driven team that leads by driving new and innovative channel growth opportunities and providing best-in-class operations and enablement support to our partners and internal sales execution teams.

As a Business Consultant on the D2C team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and bottom line performance management ensuring our growth is delivering optimal outcomes for the TELUS. You will lead financial modeling  and strategic performance analysis to drive channel profitability. By delivering high-impact business cases and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, you will directly influence investment decisions and the evolution of the D2C sales landscape.

 

 

Here's how

 

  • Manage the financial lifecycle of the D2C channel, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to optimize channel performance and market positioning
  • Conduct complex financial modeling and ROI analysis to evaluate new growth opportunities and incentives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align channel tactics with corporate financial goals
  • Present monthly financial reviews and strategic outlooks to the leadership team
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while identifying levers for operational efficiency
  • Lead high-priority strategic projects from inception through financial validation to full-scale execution

 

Qualifications

  • Expert in financial management with a deep understanding of P&L dynamics and value-based decision making
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level corporate objectives into actionable channel strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, business case development, and quantitative analysis
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders through data-backed storytelling
  • Noted for your experience in bringing data together, you can work with multiple systems, extract, reconcile, and interpret data to provide insight and make recommendations
  • Result-driven mindset and ability to take initiative and ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complex issues and concepts, demonstrating your leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, including compelling storytelling and comfort presenting to a management audience
  • You thrive under pressure and relish the opportunity to tackle new and exciting assignments in a time sensitive manner

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • MBA or professional financial designation (CPA, CFA) is highly desirable
  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or commercial finance roles
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo)
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of TELUS Home products (TV, Internet, Phone, Mob, SHS)
  • Telecommunications/technology industry experience


Salary Range:  $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
