Be part of a high-performing Strategic Financial Analysis team that delivers critical financial analysis to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Our team supports key strategic and financial analysis for significant and enterprise-wide corporate initiatives, due diligence on potential acquisition targets, valuations, purchase price allocations and goodwill impairment testing. Your forecasting and analytical skills will help the business, Treasury and M&A teams make informed decisions that align with TELUS corporate objectives.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Collaborate with Corporate FP&A, Treasury, and various stakeholder teams on a monthly basis to forecast consolidated financial statements and key financial metrics
  • With the support of the Strategic Financial Analysis team, suggest and implement improvements to make the forecast model more user-friendly, transferable, and dynamic
  • Prepare scenario and sensitivity analysis of financial results, strategic initiatives, capital raises and other activities on key financial ratios
  • Communicate key findings and variances to budget and prior forecasts to senior leadership in monthly and quarterly presentations
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis support within the strategic financial analysis team

 

 

 

What you bring

 

  • A CPA designation or progressing towards a designation
  • 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative and positive approach to work
  • An analytical and growth mindset
  • Comfortable with uncertainty
  • Ability to prioritize workload to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Forecasting and financial analysis experience

  • Due diligence and M&A experience

 

Work Location - Remote - Canada

Salary Range:  $78,000-$116,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%
