Here's how 

 

You’ll take the lead to build a data quality management practice that will not only assess our current state but future-proof our critical operational data as we continuously transform our processes, systems, and infrastructure. You’ll create and implement policies that improve and maintain data quality. The key to your success will be collaborating with stakeholders across TELUS to root cause and prioritize data issues.

 

 

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:

 

  • You have experience with data concepts such as data types, data quality measures, data management policy, system/application data pipelines, ETL technologies/processes
  • You find adding structure where there’s ambiguity and shifting scope exciting
  • You’re known for your compelling presentations and ability to influence others
  • You communicate & present complex ideas and concepts with ease to all levels of the organization
  • You’re a natural facilitator & relationship-builder with an active professional network
  • Data challenges & possibilities fascinate you

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Strong understanding of back-end architecture and processes for service delivery & support systems (e.g. SFDC, ServiceNow, ScienceLogic, CMDB)
  • 3-5 years of experience with database admin and/or ETL activities
  • High comfort level in Google Apps, including Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Sites
