The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic leader to serve as Director of Strategic Operations for our Executive Vice President. This hybrid role blends responsibilities of a Chief of Staff, PMO Director, and Strategy Office Leader, acting as a force multiplier to the EVP and a critical driver of cross-functional alignment, strategic planning, and execution excellence.. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating comprehensive strategic planning processes, managing P&L oversight, and fostering collaboration across key enabling functions. The successful candidate will operate as a peer within our senior leadership team,  leading cross-functional initiatives that shape our company's future.

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Drive the EVP’s strategic planning processes (annual and multi-year)
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market scans, and internal assessments
  • Translate strategy into clear goals, OKRs, and execution plans
  • Track and report progress on strategic initiatives across the organization

 

Chief of Staff Responsibilities

  • Serve as advisor and thought partner to the EVP
  • Prepare executive briefs, board materials, and internal comms
  • Manage EVP priorities, decision flows, and stakeholder engagements
  • Represent the EVP in select meetings and cross-functional forums

 

Program & Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the delivery of strategic and cross-functional programs
  • Establish project governance frameworks, tools, and reporting cadence
  • Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure accountability across teams
  • Coordinate resources and budget oversight for key initiatives

 

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead through influence across Operations, Finance, Product, HR, and other teams
  • Facilitate executive forums and leadership offsites
  • Champion change management and organizational alignment efforts

Qualifications


Required Knowledge and Experience
 

  • 10+ years in strategic operations, management consulting, PMO, or executive support roles
  • Proven experience working directly with C-suite or EVP-level leadership
  • Strong strategic acumen, with ability to see the big picture and dive into details
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep expertise in project/program management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, OKRs)
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in data, financial modeling, and KPIs
  • High integrity, emotional intelligence, and executive presence

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, or related field
  • PMP, Lean, or Agile certifications
  • Experience in telecommunications

  • Stakeholder Management: Advanced skills in building trust, managing competing priorities, and aligning diverse stakeholder groups toward common strategic objectives
  • Decision Making: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Business and Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L management, capital allocation, and value creation strategies in consumer businesses
  • Innovation Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, challenge conventional thinking, and lead strategic transformation initiatives

Salary Range: 
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:
