As Director of Consumer Health Products & Services, you will be the visionary leader steering the strategic direction of our consumer health products portfolio for patient care. Your role demands a deep-seated passion for the healthcare industry—one who lives and breathes the intricacies of this dynamic field. You'll oversee the entire product lifecycle, guiding a team of product managers to deliver groundbreaking digital health solutions while demonstrating unwavering patience in navigating the complex healthcare market.

 

In this pivotal position, you will craft our product strategy, leveraging your profound understanding of healthcare markets and payor dynamics. Your responsibilities extend to evolving our products and services, ensuring they not only meet but anticipate the ever-changing needs and desires of our target market. Your visionary approach will be instrumental in identifying and commercializing new opportunities, transforming innovative ideas into market-ready solutions.

 

Your keen eye for market trends and emerging digital technologies will be crucial in revolutionizing health service delivery across Canada. By skillfully balancing patient needs, technological advancements, and commercial viability, you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare. Your ability to patiently nurture ideas, live the healthcare ethos, and bring visionary concepts to fruition will be paramount in driving our organization's success in the consumer health products and services sector.

 

Here’s what will be required

 

  • Shape and execute the vision and strategic direction for consumer health products
  • Oversee multiple product lines in a complex environment
  • Drive product strategy and roadmap development
  • Lead product lifecycle management
  • Develop, mentor and grow the team
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and strategic partners
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • Effectively manage budgets and ensure delivery on KPIs

 

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle:

 

  • Director-level experience in a large organization (5+ years)
  • Proven track record in delivering digital health products
  • Strong background in agile methodologies (10+ years)
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development
  • Track record of leading high-performance product teams
  • Track record of delivering business results
  • Excellence in stakeholder management (internal and external)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and communicate strategic vision
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline

Salary Range:  $128,000-$192,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  30%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
