As a trusted advisor to the Health leadership team, you will have in-depth involvement in many aspects of our key business activities and processes.

Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst II will support our TELUS Health Operations and Customer Experience team, as well as the TELUS Health Exchange Enablement Services portfolio with a focus on month-end reporting, forecasts, annual budget cycle and preparing ad hoc analysis. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills to support the business.

As a member of the Health Finance team, you will:
- Assist with month-end activities and prepare monthly reporting package with clear and concise commentary
- Support the end to end monthly forecasting and annual budget cycle based on sound financial principles and expectations
- Maintain multi-year business planning models, based on strategic direction of organization
- Complete ad-hoc analysis as required to aid key stakeholder to make informed business decisions
- Partner with BU primes and key stakeholders to prepare executive level presentations
- Identify and implement process improvements

What you bring
- University degree is required, enrolled or plan to enroll in CPA designation program
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management, problem solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interpret data in a way that is relevant to the audience
Great-to-haves
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion
- In-depth knowledge of Excel (build complex IF type of statements, code macros and VBA)
