As the face of TELUS in the community and trusted advisor in the home, you will provide exceptional service experiences and expert recommendations to ensure our customers receive the full benefits from our growing suite of products and services. As a Home Solutions Representative (Digital Home Technician), you will be the face and voice of TELUS for our customers. You'll meet with them in their homes; installing, maintaining and supporting TV, Internet, home phone, and security services. You will set your customers up with services and drive future growth for TELUS by providing exemplary customer service while educating our customers face-to-face on both new and existing products in their homes. As a trusted member of the team and on-site support to our loyal customers, you will also highlight sales opportunities designed to help our customers get the most out of their TELUS experience.

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of our puzzle!

 

  • You care about providing exceptional customer experiences, overcoming objections, and handling both favorable and unfavorable customer interactions
  • You are comfortable with solutions-based selling, recommending products to your customers and up-selling TELUS services and products
  • You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and can also work with minimal supervision
  • You have broad problem-solving abilities and analytical skills and can maintain a high level of performance while working with time constraints in a dynamic work environment
  • You have a normal color vision which is required to work with color-coded wiring
  • You’re able to balance a physically demanding workload, which includes standing, lifting, climbing, bending, crawling in confined spaces and working in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments
  • You can work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs and customer availability, possibly working out of town assignments
  • You’re fluent in English with a clear and genuine communication style, additional languages are considered beneficial
  • You possess professional written and oral communication skills 
  • You have a natural technical aptitude, and proficient knowledge of common consumer electronic devices and/or a passion for technology
  • You enjoy continuous learning and have the ability to learn formally and informally in a dynamic environment
  • Can meet applicable testing requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • Past customer service and/or sales experience 
  • Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's License or other provincial equivalents, a driver’s abstract will be needed
  • Completed a minimum of Grade 11 Math, we'll need your transcripts and/or diplomas

 

Great to have: 

 

  • Any previous experience and/or education in telecommunications or security will be considered, but not necessary
