Telus Health is Canada’s leading provider of personalized health services, delivering integrated health management programs nationwide. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer service minded Billing Clerk who thrives in a collaborative, friendly, and supportive environment, to support our physicians in British Columbia. As a member of the team you will help increase productivity and utilization of our physicians while working in an innovative environment.

What you'll do:


  • Provide accurate MSP and non – MSP claim entry across different software platforms
  • Pre-bill analysis and additions, corrections and submissions for each individual physician
  • Implement and follow internal procedures for billing submissions
  • Practice within provincial regulatory standards for the billing of insured services as set by the ministry of health
  • Review Ministry of Health documentation regarding changing billing code rules and requirements
  • Review rejected claims for resubmission
  • Provide monthly Remittance Advice reconciliation
  • Provide monthly reports to clients
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization in all client, staff, and public interactions
  • Recognize the importance of confidentiality in client and staff interactions
  • Manage time efficiently and work well under pressure





What you bring:


  • Two years BC MSP billing experience (asset)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Adapt to new technology
  • Prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Work with deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
