Our team and what we’ll accomplish together
Joining the Digital Sales Strategy & Operations team, you will lead the team in delivering exceptional results across the TELUS Emerging Portfolio, through a focus on scaling new digital products, driving cross-selling and upselling initiatives, and growing customer basket size. You will report to the Director, Digital Sales Strategy & Operations, join a leadership team of 5, and lead a high performing team of product managers and analysts.
Here’s how
- Performance & Revenue Ownership: Drive sales performance for the TELUS Emerging Portfolio by achieving key targets including funnel conversion, orders, and channel profitability. Execute bold merchandising strategies during key sales windows, focusing on new product adoption, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and revenue per customer growth.
- Strategic Growth & Channel Development: Accelerate omni-channel eCommerce strategy development in partnership with broader TELUS teams. Own tactical planning discipline that translates strategy into actionable deliverables, with emphasis on product launch strategies and growth initiatives for the Emerging Portfolio.
- Analytics, Insights & Executive Communication: Develop scenario-based analyses, strategic recommendations, and business cases to accelerate Emerging Portfolio outcomes. Deliver insight-based storytelling to executive audiences, focusing on new product scaling strategies and basket growth opportunities.
- Operational Excellence & Customer Experience: Partner with cross-functional teams to evolve operating models for improved agility and capacity. Identify and advocate for new eCommerce capabilities and journey enhancements that enable seamless onboarding, product integration, and optimized customer paths.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead a high-performing team while fostering an innovative, strategic, and analytical culture. Build strong relationships with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of business priorities across eCommerce properties.
Qualifications
What you bring
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a digital sales and marketing environment, with a strong emphasis on new product introduction, growth, and cross-selling.
- Proven track record in eCommerce sales strategy, digital transformation, or product management, particularly within emerging technologies or product portfolios.
- Strong strategic thinker who is able to analyze complex data sets, provide actionable insights, and communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of management, with an ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for new product scaling and basket expansion.
- Exceptional collaborator who is able to navigate complex organizational dynamics, and use influencing and negotiating skills to create desired outcomes, especially in cross-functional efforts to launch and grow new products.
- A proven leader with a track record of creating a dynamic team, who thrive in ambiguity, love to solve problems, and raise the bar in their roles, particularly in fast-paced, innovative environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, typical of emerging product portfolios.
- Consulting, strategy or CPG backgrounds would be highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree or similar post-secondary degree, MBA is an asset
