What you will do


As Manager, Health Digital, you’re in charge of the big picture – the TELUS digital sales strategy and execution excellence for one of our fast-growing technology businesses that aims to provide Canadians with improved access to healthcare. As a bridge between our customers, your stakeholders and the broader digital team, you’re responsible for evolving the online onboarding experience for Health Solutions for healthcare professionals and patients nationwide across Canada. You’ll be charged with growing the business by increasing digital-only and assisted users, with a focus on penetration in regions where TELUS has lower market share.


Reporting to the VP, Digital Sales and Service, this Manager role focused on Health has been newly created to reflect the strategic importance of this product portfolio; you will have the challenge of helping to scale our health business through strong organic growth as well as leveraging new strategic partnerships and acquisitions. You will collaborate with internal and external delivery teams to create market-leading digital campaigns, offers and new product go-to-market strategies and drive optimal online experiences for our customers. You’ll fixate on new customer acquisition to capitalize on the high growth opportunity in Health, while also supporting the retention & growth of the existing customer base. You’ll obsess about finding innovative ways to improve conversion at each step of the customer’s digital journey.

  • Build and support a tight-knit, highly engaged and performing team of go-getters, act as a mentor and coach for the team and help us build a strong and long-lasting culture
  • Demonstrate digital sales excellence; helping TELUS emulate local and global digital leaders
  • Collaborate with Senior TELUS Health Stakeholders on sales strategy
  • Lead presentations to Executive audiences on digital sales performance, analysis and opportunities
  • Work closely with your peers in Wireline, Mobility, & Security on cross-selling opportunities and consistent TELUS digital customer experience
  • Play a key role in influencing prioritization of new digital capability builds based on understanding of the biggest impacts to customer experience and sales performance
  • Work with a passionate team dedicated in transforming digital for our customers with leading-edge technology and processes





You're the missing piece of the puzzle


  • Deep understanding of the digital environment (online, mobile and social)
  • Comfortable driving discussions from content and page UX to digital campaign strategy to E2E CX and sales process evolution
  • On top of key industry trends that consistently drive changing web requirements
  • Ability to anticipate and assess risks, construct contingency plans, and manage change in a complex environment
  • Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, innovation, and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to delegate, monitor and manage high-volume workloads
  • Ability to effectively solve problem and deal with complex project issues
  • Experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and cross-functional teams




  • Undergraduate degree; Master’s or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or ECommerce
  • Familiarity with TELUS Health service offering
  • People leadership experience including performance management
  • Ability to structure ambiguous asks and deal with conflicting priorities
  • Experience using Agile project/task management tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Bias for action; willing to roll up your sleeves
