Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

 

As Manager, Home Solutions (Security), you will be responsible for building world-class Digital experiences for TELUS customers across the SmartHome Security, Online Security, and Personal Security portfolios. Working to meet the needs of our customers, stakeholders and the broader Digital team, you will be tasked with owning the digital strategy and sales and service outcomes of your portfolio.

 

Reporting to the Director of the Home Solutions team, you will work closely with your peers within the portfolio to drive the strategy and evolution of the digital customer experience to meet our digitizaiton goals for Security. You will also build and support a highly engaged and performing team, and act as a mentor and coach for your team to help build a strong and enduring culture at TELUS.

  • Supporting a diverse team
    • Lead the strategy and product delivery team to deliver and support the outcomes for our customers, team members and business
    • Inspire and support team members to drive high performance and team engagement with 1:1 coaching, professional development, goal setting and performance management
  • Strategy & Outcome Delivery
    • Collaborate with TELUS stakeholder groups to build a digital roadmap for Security and deliver digital experiences that generate business value while reduce customer effort
    • Lead the execution of Digital go-to-market from an end-to-end perspective in partnership with Home Solutions marketing and our agency partners
    • Consistently monitor and report on key metrics for the website and leverage data to translate that to actionable strategies
  • Ambassador of digital adoption and engagement opportunities
    • Build relationships and networks across multiple internal teams and stakeholders to help deliver on end-to-end digital user experiences
    • Identify opportunities for optimization, and leveraging data to drive continued enhancements

 

 

Qualifications

  • Respected as a leader who inspires high performance and team engagement; coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their career goals
  • Ability to influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders to gain alignment on product vision and roadmap 
  • Regarded as an excellent communicator - able to communicate complex ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences including senior leaders in a clear, simple, easy to understand manner
  • Noted as an exceptional problem solver; anticipating and assess risks, craft contingency plans and manage change in a complex environment
  • Expert with concepts of go-to-market execution, digital sales and marketing, product delivery and analytics

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • 5+ years of Digital marketing, product, and/or leadership experience
  • Familiarity with TELUS Home Solutions products
  • Experience with performance measurement of people and developing measurement mechanisms
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to traverse complex stakeholder landscape and ability to manage conflicting priorities, bias for action and structuring ambiguous asks
  • Experience using Agile project/task management tools (e.g. JIRA) and experience leveraging them to support digital acceleration and change initiatives within a business
