This role is at the core of technology strategy and operations within TELUS' Chief Information Office (CIO). As part of the TELUS Employer Solutions (TES) Technology Team, you will be responsible for delivering Human Capital Management (HCM) application managed services and development for our customers.

 

Our goal is to provide modern, reliable, and flexible development and support services to the TELUS Employer Solutions Business team. We offer fully integrated end-to-end processes, consulting, and support services in the field of human resources, benefits, payroll, payroll accounting, time and attendance, recruitment, talent management, business intelligence and reporting analytics, employee contact centre services, and application management services. As the sole provider of comprehensive human resources services in North America, we have a proven track record of successfully delivering this extensive suite of services to large, intricate, multi-site, multi-union public sector environments. We aim to enhance both the quality and efficiency with which we provide these capabilities to our TELUS Employer Solutions customers
 
Supported by the Director, Information Services for Employer Solutions, you will directly support a highly engaged team acting as team mentor and coach. You will maintain a strong and enduring fun culture filled with innovation, spirited teamwork and grit. We will all be champions for the team and contribute to new development, operational and functional strategies and outcomes.
As the Manager of Information Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the delivery of Oracle Fusion HCM solutions for our customers. You will play a key role in the implementation and management of Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Oracle Recruitment Cloud, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. 

 

What you will do

 

 

  • Lead and manage the Oracle Fusion HCM delivery team, providing direction, support, and mentorship
  • Oversee the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Oracle Recruitment Cloud solutions
  • Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Maintain and enhance existing Oracle Fusion HCM systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
  • Provide functional and technical expertise and guidance on Oracle Fusion HCM best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Oracle HCM technologies
  • Leverage experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to support integration and migration projects
  • Oversee the ongoing technical operational management of Oracle HCM, with a keen focus to roadmap new features and functions, and also identify site reliability engineering opportunities

 

What you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in implementing Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Oracle Recruitment Cloud
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
  • 5-7 years of experience in a managerial or project management position
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, and strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Functional and operational experience with Payroll, Time and Attendance, Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and Reporting to enhance system functionality and user experience
  • Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles
  • Test Automation expertise


Great-to-Haves

 

  • Experience with other Human Capital Management applications
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience

 

 

Salary Range:  $110,000-$166,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%
