As the Manager, Product & Services for TELUS’ Energy Management portfolio, you’ll lead the Canadian product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market initiatives that drive growth and innovation across our SmartEnergy platform. You’ll work at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and customer experience—partnering with our marketing, GTM, and digital platform teams to accelerate the adoption of smart energy solutions across the country.
Whether it’s enabling new bundles with thermostats and smart plugs, scaling our partnerships with utilities and device vendors, or launching new app features that help Canadians reduce their energy bills, you’ll be at the heart of TELUS’ mission to build a more connected and sustainable future.
What you’ll do
- Lead the Canadian Energy Management product roadmap—from strategy through execution
- Drive go-to-market plans in partnership with GTM, marketing, sales channels, and digital commerce teams
- Identify and scale growth levers: pricing, bundling, partnerships, and channel expansion
- Collaborate with platform and systems teams to launch new features and improve the SmartEnergy customer journey
- Shape cross-functional initiatives to enhance product performance, customer acquisition, and retention
- Use data, insights, and customer feedback to prioritize what we build and how we bring it to market
- Represent the Energy portfolio in key governance forums and leadership updates
Qualifications
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or go-to-market strategy
- Deep understanding of customer-centric design, agile delivery, and product lifecycle management
- Experience in energy, smart home, sustainability, and/or telecom is a strong asset
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders
- Passion for innovation, growth, and building solutions that make a difference
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Great-to-haves
- Experience launching and managing B2C and/or B2B products in a digital-first environment
- Strong expertise and understanding of the Canadian energy sector, including emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory dynamics
- Familiarity with smart thermostats, EVs chargers, energy monitoring devices, or demand response programs
- Understanding of Canadian utility incentive models, DSM (demand-side management) programs, or partnerships with energy service providers
- Exposure to energy analytics platforms or real-time energy data
