The Strategy and Innovation team within Customer Solutions Delivery East, is a fast-paced and high performing team that is a key enabler of CSD’s go-to-market strategy and strategic program execution.  We bring cross- functional teams together to implement and support programs across our Field organization and make purposeful decisions on how best to execute across our National CSD team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and support strategic priorities. This includes program governance to ensure we’re focusing on our most critical priorities, strategic program support for change initiatives impacting our technician workforce and supporting and executing change management activities. You will also lead our operational communications, ensuring timely and accurate information flow to our technician teams.  If you thrive in ambiguity and have a passion for transformation, you’ll provide leadership with the expertise, critical thinking, and insights needed to support your recommendations.

Here's how


Here are some of the key activities you will spearhead in driving our business forward:

 

  • Lead our Program Governance stream, developing and maintaining project governance frameworks and standards to drive effective prioritization/deselection and resource allocation
  • Support our program prioritization process, aligning project selection with CSD’s organizational strategic objectives
  • Connect upstream stakeholders with Enablement and Operations leaders to work together to improve customer and business outcomes 
  • Guide the team in providing strategic oversight for major programs and initiatives, supporting projects end-to-end from ideation to execution 
  • Improve the customer and team member experience by supporting change management and readiness activities across our National CSD team 
  • Create and support executive-level business reviews that are presented to the leadership team
  • Drive impactful business outcomes and spearhead change within a new evolving team
  • Champion our TELUS values and culture with new TELUS team members

 

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • 7-10 years of experience in telecommunications or related industry 
  • An undergraduate degree in business or related discipline 
  • Experience managing others and serving as a consultant to drive improvements in programs, processes and cross-functional relationships
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet aggressive deadlines 
  • Proven ability to build relationship, influence others and foster ownership within cross-functional teams
  • Confident tackling ambiguous problems, bringing structure and process to help shape solutions
  • Experience leveraging data, insights and analytics to define problems and priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations
  • Self-starter, proactive, takes initiative and ownership of issue/tasks to resolution 
  • Recognized as being highly collaborative and a strong communicator
  • Noted for your curiosity, learning and continuous improvement mindset 

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Previous Program Manager experience 
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., project management software, data analysis tools)

 

 

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  20%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
