We are searching for a talented candidate to become our team’s Manager, Business Analysis. Reporting to the Director – Strategy & Planning, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Business Analysis Team in supporting our data and analytics platform evolution. This role will manage the full life cycle of all KPI reporting to support all functions in the Consumer Health team, including playing a critical role leading the management of our Scorecard and the interlock required across different parts of TELUS.

 

Here’s how

 

  • Lead a team of accomplished business & reporting analysis to create, maintain and evolve Customer Health data infrastructure and business intelligence solutions
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to enrich existing Consumer Health datasets and build scalable solutions
  • Actively engage in system and platform evolution programs, providing technical guidance on future reporting solutions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities in data capturing process and lead cross-functional programs to improve data intake efficiency
  • Collaborate with privacy and security primes to ensure existing and future reporting solutions meeting the highest privacy and security standards
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create, track and evolve the Consumer Health scorecards. Facilitate discussion with the leadership team on target setting and monthly actuals result reporting activities, plus outlook forecasts
  • Serve as a key leader supporting executive updates, through the provision of metrics, results, insights and strategic recommendations to best support the business and team
  • Flex your communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, working with a broad set of internal stakeholders, executives and external partners in support of various strategic programs
  • Mentor, lead, and support a diverse and engaging team

 

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:

 

  • Known for your business and financial acumen
  • Extensive experience in metrics management. Proven track record in leveraging quantitative expertise to support metric definition, target setting, variance analysis and gap closure actions
  • Demonstrated people leadership with a track record of building strong teams, driving a culture of high engagement, and delivering outstanding program results
  • Experience in managing large scale data programs, including data warehouse, data lake, data pipeline, etc
  • Experience in BI front end such as Tableau, Domo and Google Data Studio
  • Strong analytics, digitization and process automation knowledge
  • Comfortable in communication at all levels - from presenting to executive leadership to deep technical discussion with data engineers
  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work with high-level direction and drive to proposed approach/ work-back plans and outcomes
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-moving, intense yet rewarding business environment
