As the Field Enablement team, we support our business leaders by continuously innovating methods to deliver critical information to our stakeholders that are timely and true.

To enable this mandate, our team collaborates with finance, sales and marketing stakeholders to make critical decisions on how best to measure our business and discern what performance data means to the business.

Supported by the Manager, Business Analysis, your primary responsibilities will be:

 

  • Responsible for finding innovative ways to reduce costs throughout our operational teams
  • Lead timely and actionable reporting and insights to support decision making across the organization and develop and drive innovative data models and trend analysis techniques to identify potential business opportunities and challenges
  • Strong ability to perform revenue, margin and cost analysis, with the ability to understand trends and long-term benefits
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and innovative thinking skills with strong sense of ownership and ability to make effective decisions and deal with complex issues
  • Translate business needs into actionable insights, data, and reports and successfully identify, develop and implement process & efficiency initiatives
  • By working collaboratively with VP, Director and Manager Stakeholder teams – providing advice and clarity on their data needs and to ensure their decision making is enabled in a timely manner
  • Improve forecasting through a driver based forecasting model to enhance our monthly and annual financial planning cycles
  • Support month end activities to report on results including identification of the root cause of KPI variances & actions required

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical acumen to differentiate and translate business needs into working requirements for data and pipeline development
  • Sought out for your ability to seek out, analyze and translate facts, financial models and intelligence into key insights, concept and recommendations
  • Recognized for your business insight, problem solving skills, advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Confidence to engage a broad set of stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of the leadership team
  • Expert ability to break down / decompose complex data sets and ambiguous problems to tell meaningful business stories and to effectively communicate complex financial analysis or results to senior leadership
  • You have outstanding financial modeling skills, with Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • 3-5 years of financial planning and analysis or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the home automation and security industry and/or telecommunications/technology industry experience
  • CPA or MBA 
  • Knowledge of security business models, measures, metrics, and financial KPIs
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (financial modeling)
