The TELUS Door-to-Door (D2D) and Complementary Channels team is part of the Home Solutions Community and Channels group at TELUS. We are a customer-focused and results-driven team that leads by driving new and innovative channel growth opportunities and providing best-in-class operations and enablement support to our D2D partners and internal sales execution teams.

As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in OPEX Management, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing operational expenditures. You will be responsible for short term and long term financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. Your insights will inform key business decisions and help us achieve our financial goals.

●    You’ll orchestrate the monthly financial planning and budgeting process, making sure everyone is in sync with financial targets and monitoring performance.
●    Join forces with cross-functional teams to develop and execute top-notch financial plans and forecasts.
●    Dive into monthly/quarterly OPEX triage reports, identifying risks and opportunities with a keen eye.
●    Lead cost-saving initiatives through stakeholder collaboration, creative frameworks, and ROI-focused strategies.
●    Provide invaluable financial guidance to senior management to enhance their decision-making processes.

 

Qualifications

●    You bring 3-5+ years of relevant experience or education with a proven track record of performance and increasing responsibility.
●    You have a proactive mindset, skilled at identifying opportunities, turning data into insights, and making strong recommendations.
●    You’re a natural collaborator, comfortable engaging with all management levels, and have an asset in executive reporting experience.
●    You integrate and articulate key performance indicators (KPIs), linking them to business operations seamlessly.
●    You are recognized for your results-oriented mindset with a talent for taking initiative and seeing tasks through to completion.
●    You excel in navigating ambiguity and complex issues, showcasing your leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.


Great-to-haves
 

●    Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Economics, or Finance, and/or Accounting.
●    Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
●    Telecommunications/technology industry experience.
●    Working knowledge of SAP and the Google Suite of products.

Salary Range:  $72,000-$108,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
