TELUS Supply Operations purchases, manages and distributes all materials and services for our company from infrastructure to consumer mobile through over 1,000 points of presence and direct to our customers. We are transforming how we deliver service to our customers and creating a competitive advantage for our company. Your Home Solutions team is responsible for TV, Internet, Health, Smart Home Security and Automation products.

 

Here’s how

 

  • Develop and maintain forecasts for Home Solutions SKUs in collaboration with other planners, Marketing and Products & Services
  • Team with Marketing and technical colleagues to understand market trends and customer demand
  • Liaise with Marketing and Products & Services to ensure successful launching of new products
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and minimize excess inventory
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate the S&OP process to ensure that our demand and supply plans align with our sales and marketing plans
  • Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, effectively managing expectations and resolving conflicts
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to Managers, Directors, and VPs, effectively communicating complex demand planning insights and recommendations
  • Connect with the Finance team to develop, maintain and monitor the capital budget
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to provide updates on demand trends, inventory levels, and any potential risks or opportunities
  • Proactively identify process improvements and efficiency gains in demand planning workflows

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you Bring

 

  • 5+ years of experience of demand planning and 10+ years of overall working experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated track record of preparing and updating forecasts, as well as improving forecast accuracy
  • Acknowledged for strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A good storyteller with the knowledge and skill to effectively use data and to influence others to take action, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of supply chain management best practices
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership decision-making
  • Experience in scenario planning and developing strategic foresight to address potential future challenges

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Supply Chain planning certification such as CPIM, CSCP, SCMP
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP/ retail planning tools like Blue Yonder (formerly JDA)
  • Experience with Sales and Operations (S&OP) planning processes
  • Previous experience working for Telecommunication companies

 

 

Salary Range:  $80,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
