Are you passionate about training, knowledge management, continuous learning and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an experienced learning specialist to join our Business Systems Delivery – Change Management and Adoption team to support our customers in our digital transformation journey. Your primary focus will be creating content and delivering training for TELUS customers on ServiceNow – a cloud-based software platform for IT Service Management (ITSM) which helps to automate IT Business Management.

 

As part of delivering a great customer experience, you will be responsible for leading in the identification, design, planning and execution of learning strategies, processes, systems and programs to help our business customers adopt and utilize ServiceNow and other cloud based tools such as Salesforce.com. In addition, you will perform in-depth analysis and design of training requirements, as well as the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum. You will act as the consultant and liaison between project teams and the organization, taking developed process and system documentation and producing a tangible training plan.

What you’ll do:

 

  • Deliver ServiceNow training to TELUS business customers and internal operations teams in both English and French language
  • Manage and/or design, develop, assess and implement components of complex learning solutions, using the latest tools and methodologies to reinforce and drive end user adoption 
  • Maintain learning materials and library of learning modules, ensuring documentation is current and relevant. Ownership for end to end curricula (either CORE or major complex learning initiatives)
  • Create, maintain and update knowledge base customer facing articles in ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand objectives/strategies and desired results from learning opportunities. Partner with the stakeholders to support and reinforce learning activities
  • Assess business unit training needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Recommend and develop effective and creative learning solutions to meet stakeholder needs
  • Proactively identify opportunities in training curriculum with business development and evolution
  • Meet with stakeholders and/or project team pre and post class to ensure to gather feedback on curriculum
  • Recommend non training related solutions and/or alternative to training requests where appropriate

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce.com
  • Understanding of Adult Education principles and processes
  • Excellent communications skills including written, verbal and presentation 
    • Fluency in English and French spoken and written is mandatory
  • Skilled in development, facilitating and evaluating
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with graphics design, video editing, and/or course authoring using the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, or Articulate is encouraged

 
Great-to-have: 

 

  • Post-secondary degree/certificate (Adult Learning and/or HR related field of expertise) or equivalent years of work experience in progressive positions
