As the Senior Market Intelligence Manager, you will be the strategic architect behind Optik TV and Stream+. You won’t just report on the business; you will shape it. By mastering our P&L and performance metrics, you will diagnose complex business hurdles and transform them into growth opportunities.
You’ll act as a bridge between raw data and executive action, distilling complex market intelligence into clear, persuasive narratives that guide our leadership team. Here’s how:
- Take full ownership of the Entertainment portfolio’s health, building a comprehensive, top-to- bottom view of our financial performance to ensure we stay ahead of the curve
- Drive profitability by developing strategies that enhance margin and revenue through partnering with cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance
- Design and deliver high-stakes executive presentations and monthly strategy reviews that influence the highest levels of TELUS leadership
- Partner with Finance and Forecasting teams to set ambitious yet achievable quarterly targets, serving as a critical voice in our triage and decision-making processes
- Foster powerful relationships across the organization, ensuring that every department is aligned with our long-term entertainment vision
- Develop Tableau dashboards and data visualizations that transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, enabling faster and more informed decision-making across the business

Qualifications
What you bring:
- 6+ years of progressive marketing experience with a track record of delivering results
- Strategic mindset with strong critical thinking skills and a proven ability to identify opportunities develop winning strategies, and execute with precision
- Analytics prowess – you're comfortable working with numbers and translating data into actionable insights
- Understanding of financial, market, and business case modeling and forecasting techniques and associated competence in modeling tools (i.e. Google Sheets)
- Manage ambiguity and synthesize complex information into meaningful information and recommendations
- Experience with data visualization and tools (eg. Tableau) to build dashboards and reports
- Navigate through complex organizational dynamics and use influencing and negotiating skills to create desired outcomes
- Expert ability to verbally and visually communicate effectively with all levels of management, including senior executives
- Entrepreneurial spirit – self-driven, proactive, with strong problem-solving capabilities and comfort navigating ambiguity
Nice To Haves:
- A solid understanding of TELUS Consumer Solutions, ideally with exposure to both wireless and wireline business units
- Experience in telecommunications, media, or entertainment industries
