Are you a seasoned Performance Analyst looking for a new opportunity? TELUS is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join our team and make a significant impact on our accounts receivables (AR) performance. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting churn, managing bad debt, and reporting on portfolio performance. You will also configure strategies for B2B portfolios, including TELUS, TELUS Health, TELUS Security, and TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods. Your contributions will be crucial in driving our financial success and supporting our business goals.
What you’ll do
- Model involuntary churn forecasts for products, such as wireless
- Track actual involuntary churn against forecast and tweak models accordingly
- Perform data analysis on receivables to identify opportunities to drive improvements in accounts receivable and bad debt performance
- Influence the design of AR strategies for optimal outcomes
- Act as a control point to ensure AR management systems are working as designed
Qualifications
What you bring
- Proven experience in forecasting, data evaluation, and reporting (e.g., SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Proficiency with common reporting tools and data visualization software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources
- Expertise in clear communication and crafting compelling presentations that distill complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to build relationships and influence across multiple teams
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and a curiosity to learn more about what you’re seeing in the data
Great-to-haves
- Experience in managing accounts receivables and/or bad debt and an understanding of financial metrics
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio performance
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
- Understanding of industry-specific trends
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Location: Any major Canadian city
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners,stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
