Join TELUS as the Senior Product Manager - Base Management, Internet of Things (IoT). In this high-visibility role, you'll lead the segment to new heights. Reporting to the Manager - Mid-Market Base Management, you will transform complex data into compelling narratives that shape strategic direction, working with operational teams to execute supporting tactics. Success in this evolving role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, effective communication, and relationship management skills.
Here’s how
In this role, you will:
- Own program management of IoT ARPU log
- Drive IoT ARPU growth through ARPU log programs on wallet share, upsell, fee collection, price increases, etc
- Minimise IoT RGU & account churn by designing and implementing proactive & reactive programs
- Forecast monthly & quarterly churn on IoT products through tracking reasons, monitoring performance, and analysing trends
- Balance the conflicting dynamic between re-rates and churn on revenue
- Support IoT base-impacting programs through financial business casing, customer contact strategy, and execution
- Continuously develop and identify insights from IoT base to improve understanding and generate new ideas
- Maintain reports on IoT lagging & leading indicators
- Track and identify evolving industry and market trends to support base insights and inform business decisions
Qualifications
What you bring
- Independent self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and can perform with ambiguity
- Strong business acumen with problem definition, analytical thinking, and curiosity
- Ability to think critically to solve problems and form actionable recommendations
- Comfortable working with data - pulling from datasets, performing analysis, & data visualisation
- Program management
- Clear and concise written & verbal communicator

- Time management & prioritisation
Great-to-haves
- Proficiency in French (verbal and written)
- MBA or CPA is an asset, but not a requirement
- Prior telecommunications expertise
- B2B experience would be an asset

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
