We are looking for a dedicated person to join our team and drive the evolution of TELUS Internet by focusing on critical customer experience insights. Utilizing a blend of quantitative data evaluation and qualitative customer feedback, you will recognize pain points and identify opportunities for product enhancements. Your strong coordination and governance skills will enable you to develop and implement operational programs that address these opportunities. In partnership with internal stakeholders, you will work to streamline our operations, reduce costs, and enhance value, all while ensuring an improved customer experience.


Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and business casing. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent program management skills and a passion for technology and innovation.

 

Key duties:

 

  • Financials: Manage budgets, forecasting models, and business cases to ensure financial health and alignment with company goals
  • Roadmap Planning & Strategy: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands
  • Stakeholder Management & Governance: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective governance of product initiatives
  • Business Casing: Develop comprehensive business cases to support new product initiatives and enhancements

 

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Program Management Skills: Ability to juggle multiple duties and provide a cohesive view of a wide-spanning and diverse portfolio
  • Data Evaluation Skills: Ability to creatively collect data, evaluate and structure problems, and develop recommendations. You can see the story behind the numbers
  • Financial Expertise: Strong experience in managing budgets, forecasting models, and business cases
  • Product Management Experience: Experience creating product backlogs, user stories, and business requirements
  • User/Community Feedback Loops: Experience setting up user/community feedback loops is a strong asset
  • Passion for Technology: A love and interest in technology, consumer electronics trends, and innovation
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, sell ideas, and influence without authority
  • Social Skills: Solid social skills and self-awareness with the ability to give, take, and act on feedback in a positive way, always
  • Educational Background: Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or Engineering is an asset

 

 

Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
