Join Our Team:


We support the management and development of TELUS’ Video Services offerings. We are responsible for the end-to-end customer experience for the Optik customer and own the product strategy. We interface with divisions across the enterprise to ensure we deliver on business and customer needs alike. Our broader team supports the product life-cycle for all aspects of TELUS’ video products, so you’ll have the support and collaboration of an excellent team of cross-functional product managers.


Job Description:


As a Senior Product Manager managing Optik TV core platforms at TELUS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our video services. You will be responsible for leading customer migration activities while ensuring we meet our targets in terms of customer satisfaction, operational cost, and platform-related expenses. Your strategic vision, product expertise, and project management skill sets will drive the success of our new Optik TV platform.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Help to lead stakeholder engagement and governance to ensure proper communication on progress, risks, and issues by directing cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, execute, and report on migration-related activities
  • Utilizing your strong project management skills to oversee initiatives and ensure timely delivery
  • Proven business and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize financial performance
  • Identifying opportunities within our current processes and implement changes to streamline processes and bring efficiencies
  • Managing changes to the TV platform to ensure seamless integration of new features
  • Monitoring key performance metrics and drive data-driven decisions to optimize feature performance
  • Applying technical understanding of the Optik TV product to inform decision-making and feature development

 

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver time-bound initiatives and improvements
  • Known for putting customers first, you always have the best customer and business outcomes at the heart of your decision-making
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Optik TV platforms, hardware, and feature sets
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to confidently present to senior leadership
  • Experience in using customer insights and data to help inform decision-making, and put together business cases to support decisions and identify opportunities
  • Strong understanding and thorough knowledge of marketing principles, consensus-building, business decision-making techniques, business processes, telecommunications and video industry dynamics, and business market competition
  • Recognized for your experience in product strategy and product development, you have a strong desire to take ownership, accountability, and grow the business

 

 

Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
