We are on a mission to launch a groundbreaking smart home platform while transforming our existing SmartHome offering into the next generation. This new platform will bring convenience, automation, and peace of mind to homes across Canada. Our team is focused on designing exceptional experiences and working with technical product teams to create value propositions tailored to the Canadian market, ensuring a seamless customer journey as we introduce new products.

 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our next-generation smart home experience to life by leading the product development process across multiple scrum teams and providing clear program visibility to stakeholders. Your focus will be on developing our security capabilities for our new TELUS SmartHome+ platform, working closely with our platform and app teams, as well as with our Central Monitoring Station (CMS) teams. Together, you will build integration between our systems, the SmartHome+ platform, and the CMS platform.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead the end-to-end launch of our next-generation monitored Security plans in the Canadian market, ensuring successful, timely delivery
  • Develop compelling value propositions for our new product solutions to facilitate customer and sales decision-making
  • Collaborate with technical product teams and CMS partners to develop in-house monitored Security plans and acquire new customers
  • Align and gain buy-in from teams across the organization, including Product, Marketing, Sales, CIO, PMO, Support, Channels, Operations, and CMS
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our customers, competitive landscape, market trends, technology, offerings, and internal strategies and capabilities
  • Present plans, progress, and results to leadership teams

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Substantial experience and knowledge of monitored Security plans, supporting the development of new plans
  • Proven track record in collaborating across multiple stakeholders to identify and close gaps, address challenges, and enable on-time delivery
  • Expertise in managing projects and overseeing multiple moving parts to meet project deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building and team coordination skills
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform results and plans
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, including identifying issues and using analytics to distill insights for strategic recommendations
  • An inquisitive mindset with a focus on the market, continually seeking ideas, innovation, and inspiration to empower your team to think bigger and bolder

 

 

Salary Range:  $96,000-$144,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
