As Senior Product Manager for our pet care eCommerce solution for veterinarian-recommended diets and products, MyPet Store, you will serve as the strategic data intelligence leader for our integrated pet care ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data across multiple platforms to uncover insights that drive business growth and strategic decision-making. While your core focus will be on our eCommerce platform, you'll play a critical role in understanding how eCommerce connects to and drives engagement across our virtual veterinary consultations, pet insurance offerings, and prescription services.

 

You will be accountable for product roadmap strategy, stakeholder management, and translating complex data into compelling business stories that drive strategic decisions. You will lead cross-functional initiatives for major platform capabilities including geographic expansion, subscription models, and membership programs, while ensuring our product strategy is data-driven and customer-centric. You will collaborate with technology vendors, operations, and marketing teams to deliver scalable solutions that position our pet care eCommerce platform as a growth engine for the broader business ecosystem.

 

You will anticipate market trends, leverage innovative approaches including AI, and position our pet care eCommerce platform ahead of industry changes. Your passion for animal welfare coupled with strong analytical capabilities will guide your approach to scaling our online pet product business and achieving ambitious growth targets.


Here's what will be required

 

  • Define and execute the overall product strategy and roadmap for the MyPet eCommerce division, driving sustainable growth and scale
  • Own data analytics and storytelling, mining insights from multiple sources to craft compelling narratives that guide business decisions
  • Manage KPI tracking, performance metrics, and deliver weekly executive updates on product performance and strategic recommendations
  • Lead stakeholder relationships with third-party vendors, technology partners, and cross-functional teams including virtual care app integration
  • Drive cross-functional product and service enhancements for geographic expansion, subscription capabilities, and membership programs
  • Oversee privacy, security compliance, and manufacturer contracting relationships
  • Collaborate with Consumer Health product, operations, and broader TELUS Health teams to ensure strategic alignment and platform synergies

 

 

Qualifications

Core Experience:

 

  • Senior product management experience 5+ years with proven success in eCommerce or SaaS platforms
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and vendor relationship leadership
  • Proven experience driving value from analytically generated insights
  • Experience with subscription business models and platform scaling preferred
  • Excellent strategic communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product roadmaps
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Passion for pets and animal welfare is key!

 

Technical & Analytical Requirements:

 

  • Data storytelling methodology - proven ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and compelling executive presentations
  • Analytics platforms - proficiency with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar web/mobile analytics tools
  • eCommerce analytics - deep understanding of conversion funnels, customer lifetime value, retention metrics, and revenue attribution models
  • Spreadsheet mastery - advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling

 

Preferred Technical Experience:

 

  • Data visualization expertise - hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to create executive dashboards and compelling visual narratives
  • Advanced SQL proficiency - ability to write complex queries, joins, and data transformations across multiple databases
  • Programming knowledge - basic Python or R skills for data manipulation and analysis (preferred)
  • Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, or similar enterprise eCommerce platforms
  • Knowledge of Braze, or similar marketing automation and customer data platforms
  • Familiarity with subscription billing systems and recurring revenue analytics
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM performance metrics and digital marketing attribution models
  • Statistical analysis skills - experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and statistical significance testing
  • Business intelligence tools - experience with data warehousing concepts and tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms
  • Machine learning awareness - familiarity with predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and recommendation engine concepts
  • API and data integration - understanding of how to connect and analyze data from multiple sources (CRM, eCommerce platforms, marketing tools)

 

 

Salary Range:  $100,000-$150,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%
