Oversee our capital program for our new growth markets portfolio, driving strategy and innovation for how we connect our customers.

We are responsible for a significant capital envelope that is responsible for building the best PureFibre network in the world to new growth developments in the residential and commercial space. We interlock with teams across the organization to ensure our capital is invested wisely, and that we deliver the results we promise. We are not just a finance team, we are an end to end enablement team defining industry best practices in capital governance, change management, and systems implementation.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for the capital execution and enablement of our overall NGM portfolio. You will drive strategy and oversight, maintaining our programs forecasts, and will be responsible for collaborating and interlocking with various team members to ensure our results. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering executive presentations, and will work with peers in marketing and enablement to assess complex problems and driving solutions. You will support your fellow team members by sharing your experience and contributing to a collaborative work culture.

What you bring

 

  • Strong financial acumen with robust analytical skills that drive insights and improvements to the organization
  • Compelling story-telling, distilling complex problems into concise summaries and delivering executive level presentations
  • Analyze and solve business problems by developing insightful, innovative, and practical solutions to complex or unstructured challenges / opportunities
  • Drive change as or when required and not be hesitant to “roll up your sleeves” to get job done
  • Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder agreement, solve problems, and motivate people to take action, including virtual team members
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and gain buy-in
  • Structure and manage projects, including planning and coordinating project teams, to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments while minimizing potential obstacles and risks
  • Influence the technical delivery teams to deliver within project scope, schedule, and cost, and recommend alternate strategies as required
  • Maximize project team performance by providing team members with a clear sense of direction and an understanding of their respective responsibilities, and by encouraging open discussion of ideas, issues, and competing viewpoints
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business and technical team members engaged on your portfolio


Great-to-haves

 

  • Familiarity with CNP and our organization 
  • 5+ Years of experience in a similar role with MBA, PMP, or equivalent project management background
  • Budget management experience including forecasting, accruals, SAP, Fieldglass experience
