As a program manager, you will focus on the product evolution of our year-round care programs and health assessments offering on a national scale. This service is delivered by a multidisciplinary care team with in-depth, diagnostic, health and lifestyle reviews. Leveraging your previous experience in the healthcare industry, you will design a program that will rapidly evolve and grow our business.

 

This role is at the nexus of simplifying the client journey and helping the organization achieve its scalability goals while maintaining an efficient profitable organization. As an expert in navigating the regulatory landscape, your performance with product launches relies on tenacity, innovation and flawless execution. We are looking for well-rounded individuals who like to wear multiple hats, think big, but are equally happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

  • Service Design: Experience with Service Design and its principles; ability to simplify the client and patient journey
  • Leadership: applying structured problem solving, leveraging a data-driven approach and assessing all cross-functional impacts to execution
  • Project Management: ability to understand complex programs and work across a variety of groups to achieve outcomes
  • Financial Accountability: planning, business casing and managing overall budget, scorecard and metrics for your area of responsibility
  • Communication: focus on facilitating discussions across teams, including executives, and creating an environment that supports ideas, sharing and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to team culture: Inspire and motivate yourselves and peers to drive high performance, teamwork and timely recognition

 

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or private clinics environments
  • A passion to drive and improve the success of connecting people with healthcare
  • Innately curious with a strong drive to dive into the unknown; secretly, you probably like to think of yourself as something of a detective
  • Strong leadership skills, including but not limited to building relationships and change management, working through influence, facilitation, and developing and actioning strategy
  • Problem-solving discipline with the ability to disaggregate complexity and ambiguity
  • Naturally hypothesis-driven and highly proficient in using data to test ideas and develop insights that lead to winning decisions
  • Adept at collaborating with strategic stakeholders in other TELUS Health business units to develop integrated strategies that drive growth in overall shareholder value
  • Highly creative with a knack for developing clear and concise communications whether that be through Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, Word, GSuite Tools or during live presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma or equivalent education and/or program management experience is required / preferred

 

Great to Haves:

 

  • MBA or Master’s degree in health care field/health administration is an asset
  • PMP designation, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent designations

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
