The Provider Product Team designs, builds and maintains products used by thousands of healthcare professionals and millions of patients across Canada and beyond. We’re charting a new course in healthcare with our products including Pharmacy solutions, EMRs, mobile apps, APIs and more.

 

As a Sr. Program Manager, you’ll join our Provider Product Team, with a mission to optimize the financial and operational health of the EMR/CHR and Pharmacy teams.

 

Here's how

 

  • OpEx & CapEx Management: You will be responsible for managing the Provider Product Team’s OpEx & CapEx portfolio and working with leadership to drive transformational programs optimizing these budgets
  • Expense Planning: You will lead annual budgeting cycles, monthly forecasting, run-rate analysis and make recommendations and identify risks in spending and planning
  • Business Casing: You will develop and review multi-year business cases across the Provider Product portfolio and ensure our capital spend provides maximum benefits
  • Executive Reporting & Portfolio Performance Analysis: You will coordinate and deliver executive level reporting, providing program status updates and ad-hoc analysis across the portfolio
  • Collaborate: You will be the primary liaison between the Provider Product Team and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Capital Leadership Team, Finance). Your role is critical to ensuring alignment on financial and operational requirements

  • Strong financial and business acumen is a must in this role, as well as building and analyzing business cases
  • You have excellent organization and planning skills and the ability to manage a large number of tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You have a passion to constantly challenge the status quo and to seek and drive continuous improvements
  • You have worked with cross-functional teams, building and developing those relationships and pushed teams to succeed
  • You have outstanding oral and written communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail
  • You are a team player with a collaborative and flexibility mindset and are comfortable influencing across teams without necessarily having direct authority

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with SAP, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Post-graduate designations especially CFA, CPA, CA, MBA  
  • Project Management experience would be an asset
  • Health IT industry experience an asset

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
