We are looking for a passionate and talented individual to join a skilled team that continues to shape the evolution of our High Speed Internet portfolio, from Internet to Wifi to related Self-Install processes and more. Delivering new solutions for customers to manage their home connectivity is one of the most critical initiatives to support our organization's priority of increasing our competitive advantage through product leadership.

This position sits within the Products and Services team at TELUS driving our Internet products forward. Our team is a results-driven, learning-focused organization where you'll tackle high-impact projects that challenge you, accelerate your growth, and deliver measurable outcomes. We are one of the few teams in TELUS that have shared responsibilities across both fixed line and wireless lines of business, so you have the rare opportunity to gain experience in our two major lines of business. In addition, we work extensively with internal cross functional teams (from go to market, to IT, to field capacity management and operations), as well as external partners therefore you will gain an appreciation for the business, end to end.

 

Simply put, as part of the Products and Services PMO team at TELUS, your job is to bring cross functional teams together to solve business problems. You will expand your talents in project management, facilitation, and structured problem solving methods to improve our customer experience end to end. Position Overview

 

  • Team: Consumer Products and Services – Project Management
  • Role: Project Manager (strategic thinker, project leader, driver of continuous improvement, problem solver, team player, facilitator)
  • Focus: In this role, you will own and drive projects for key product areas within our Internet portfolio, responsible for making our customers' lives better by providing simple, reliable and meaningful home internet service.
  • You will continuously listen to our customers, drive ease of use, be ruthless with service quality, and deliver innovation.
  • Your mission is to lead projects that deliver a seamless, reliable home internet experience, ensuring flawless execution and customer expectations are exceeded at every touchpoint.
  • You'll work alongside a data-informed, continuously learning team committed to taking on our most ambitious challenges—projects that push your capabilities and fuel your professional development.
  • You'll partner closely with technical, go-to-market, regulatory and operations teams. Knowledge across these domains will be essential to driving alignment and delivering results

What You Bring to the Table

 

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of internet product initiatives across Canada (primary focus: Eastern region). You will manage the end-to-end execution of projects spanning Third Party Internet Access, Wired Internet, and Wireless Internet, translating strategic product roadmaps into on-time, on-budget deliverables.

 

Core Skills Required:

 

  • You have demonstrated mastery of project management fundamentals—expertly managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources to consistently deliver results
  • It’s a given that you’ll have strong project management skills coupled with a track record of delivering results
  • Ideally you’ll be a strong all-round communicator with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects who can easily form and sell ideas, influence outcomes and lead without authority
  • In your past you have strong exposure to managing multiple concurrent projects or large programs with multiple workstreams in a highly complex environment
  • With an excellent working knowledge of internet products, you are technically inquisitive; and willing to get into the details to the degree that you can own the solution as the business prime or create well-defined solutions
  • Having a solid working knowledge of the customer journey and service delivery models (learn, buy, get, use, pay, support) and a proven background in optimizing workflows and project delivery processes
  • Over your career you have the proven ability to manage ambiguity and coordinate across multiple teams and departments and have done so whilst building and cultivating a wide network of influential contacts that drive collaboration and business success
  • You leverage storytelling to build conviction, influence key stakeholders, and drive informed decision-making across the organization
  • Having a PMP designation is an asset

Salary Range:  $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
