The CSD Quality and Reliability team enables our field operations team to be as effective as possible focusing on the quality and reliability of our customers' orders and repairs.

 

Our program consists of 4 major pillars:  

  • Development of a quality birth certificate for our customers and team members
  • Test tool procurement and assessment
  • Quality assurance coaching and design
  • Certification and training within our field teams.

 

In addition we are driving leading edge technology in AI to support all of our programs.

What you’ll do

 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have a crucial role in developing and implementing new and innovative programs to support the quality and reliability of TELUS CSD field operations. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects that focus on achieving integration and improving efficiencies within TELUS field operations.

 

Your contribution will be fundamental in creating a highly agile, productive, and efficient field operations team. As a result, you will be able to play an essential role in supporting TELUS's ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible service to our customers.

 

  • Seeing through the planning and managing of strategic projects and/or programs from original concept to final implementation, while driving improvements and efficiencies
  • Successfully leading and managing strategic projects and/or programs, overseeing their progression from conception to final implementation, while driving continuous improvements and enhancing reliability efficiencies
  • Defining program scope, deliverables, and high-quality project plans, consistently adhering to predefined quality measurements to meet business objectives
  • Defining the scope and deliverables of programs, developing high-quality project plans, and consistently adhering to predefined quality metrics to meet business objectives
  • Collaborating effectively and efficiently across multiple disciplines, organizational boundaries, and stakeholder groups
  • Identifying and securing project/program resources (funding, resources, skills, etc)
  • Proactively identifying and managing project/program issues and risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Managing program financials and budgets, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Delivering impactful, concise, and effective communications and presentations to all levels of the business both internally and externally
     

 

As a direct report to the Manager, Program Office, this position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, including benefits management, to ensure standardization and governance across all field operations.
 

Qualifications

  • Project management experience: You are an experienced project manager with the innate ability to lead projects from inception to completion
  • Expert Communicator & Confident Presenter: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by your strong delivery and creation of presentations to leaders at all levels within the organization and across various stakeholder groups. You are a confident presenter who can effectively convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to influence decision makers, clients, and team members.
  • Change Leader: As a change leader, you combine your leadership and change management experience with a passion for continuous learning and growth to effectively lead through change.
  • Dynamic Decision Maker & Problem Solver: You quickly adapt to changing environments while making decisions based on sound financial and business assessments.
  • Supportive Mentor: You provide effective support for those experiencing change
  • Proactive Planner: You have highly developed personal planning and organizational skills; you have mastered the art of negotiating, initiating, planning, and organizing activities so you can meet deliverables and work with minimal guidance

  • Proven leadership, coaching, motivating, goal setting, performance management and human resource management skills
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to delegate, monitor and manage high volume workloads
  • Ability to effectively problem solve and deal with complex project issues Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Bachelor of Business or similar discipline or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
  • Bilingualism (English & French)



 

Salary Range:  $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
