Senior Strategy Manager, Mobile & Home (Channel Strategy & Enablement)
Vancouver, BC, CA, V6B 0M3 Calgary, AB, CA Toronto, ON, CA
Description
Join our team and what we’ll accomplish together
Are you a high-energy, influential leader looking to make a significant impact? Join us as a Senior Strategy Manager and be the primary bridge between our Mobile & Home (M&H) strategy and the frontline teams who bring it to life.
You aren't just a messenger; you're a translator and a strategic consultant. Your mission is to ensure that every TELUS team member—whether in a store, on the phone, or in the field—not only understands our M&H vision but feels empowered and incentivized to win. Reporting to the Manager, M&H Program Management, you will take high-level strategies and turn them into "boots-on-the-ground" reality through world-class playbooks, strategic interlock, and a relentless focus on M&H performance within the channels.
Why You’ll Thrive in This Role
- You’re a natural "people person" who loves the energy of the sales floor and the challenge of hitting targets
- You see yourself as a translator who can take a "corporate strategy" and make it sound like a winning game plan to a rep
- You are data-informed but people-driven; you look at the spreadsheet to find the problem, but you talk to the people to find the solution
What you’ll do
Channel Empowerment & Playbook Excellence
- The M&H Envoy: Serve as the point of contact for our team, handling requirements from across all channels and sharing out the tools and insights needed to improve M&H results
- Orchestrate Playbooks: Translate complex marketing and portfolio strategies into clear, actionable "Channel Playbooks" that simplify the selling process and highlight the "Total Household" value proposition
- Enablement Interlock: Maintain a regular cadence with sales enablement and channel primes to ensure they are equipped with the most up-to-date messaging and competitive intel to drive M&H attach rates
Strategic Liaison & Performance Visibility
- Voice of the Frontline: Act as the strategic link between sales channels and our M&H marketing strategy, ensuring that feedback from the field informs our long-term roadmap
- Champion Visibility: Represent the M&H program in key performance forums (QGP, CWP, etc.). You’ll gather team feedback and share out progress and results to ensure the program stays top-of-mind for executive leadership
- Weekly Performance Rigor: Lead weekly performance reviews with sales leads, diving into the data to identify wins, address gaps, and pivot strategies in real-time
Channel Optimization & Incentive Recommendations
- Unlock Commercial Growth: Explore and identify opportunities at the channel level to drive loading. You’ll make high-impact recommendations on compensation structures, "spiffs," and incentives
- Measure the ROI: Don’t just suggest—prove it. You will measure the results of channel initiatives against expectations to determine which programs provide the best return and should be scaled nationally
