About This Role


Join our team as a Senior Strategy Manager on our dynamic Go East Marketing team, where you'll drive strategic growth initiatives across our TV and multibrand internet portfolio, specifically supporting Koodo Internet and TELUS Pure Fibre. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that put our customers first and fuel our continued expansion in the competitive eastern landscape.

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Growth Leadership

  • Develop, manage and support short and long-term growth strategies with supporting programs to drive measurable business growth with comprehensive strategies and tactical actions utilizing innovative marketing approaches, omni-channel support, and programmatic solutions
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning with a strategic 80/20 approach: plan the year at 80% completion to preserve 20% capacity for innovation and agile response to market dynamics and portfolio performance
  • Execute monthly revision cadence to ensure we are maximizing opportunities and performance across all initiatives and teams


Program & Project Excellence

 

  • Lead project management and program execution across multifunctional teams, implementing rigorous processes, maintaining strict timelines, and providing regular leadership and stakeholder updates to ensure on-time delivery and program visibility
  • Adjust long-term plans to reflect key learnings and tangible outcomes to ensure an agile yet programmatic approach that balances strategic consistency with tactical flexibility
  • Ensure visibility across program teams and initiatives that have an impact on the portfolios, maintaining clear communication channels and coordinated execution
  • Present analyses, recommendations, and performance updates to senior leadership through capable executive storytelling


Stakeholder Management

 

  • Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships to encourage collaboration and support growth objectives across the organization
  • Interlock with the National Consumer (Home Solutions and Mobility) and Business Marketing team to ensure messaging and program alignment where possible 


Market Intelligence & Strategy Development

 

  • Incorporate market trends and customer insights into the planning cycles for opportunities, relevance, and competitiveness
  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable strategic recommendations that drive measurable business impact
  • Establish a performance management framework that aligns metrics/KPIs to our strategy and engage in benchmarking exercises to implement best practices

Professional Experience:

 

  • Experience in marketing, customer acquisition, and sales within telecommunications or related industries
  • Demonstrated project management and program leadership skills in fast-paced environments
  • Background in multibrand marketing strategies and campaign management

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
