The Commercial Segment Team in Industry Solutions is the connection between Product, Marketing and Sales. We are a fun, innovative and flexible team, looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to join us in developing the strategy, positioning, and value propositions for our business market products.
In this role, you will support new products and features launches in various product portfolios within the broader Industry Solutions team, including: IOT, SDWAN, UC and Cyber Security. You will gather feedback from the various sales channels and customers to ensure our services are delighting them. Put on your entrepreneurial hat, as your typical day may not be predictable in this fast moving and exciting area of TELUS.
Reporting to the Director, Products and Services your key responsibilities will include:
- Helping create winning value propositions, success stories and use cases for our strategic products in order to enable innovative and differentiated conversations and inspire sales confidence
- Liaising with the Customer Success Team who are gathering input from customers about how existing offerings are solving customer problems, where customers are experiencing issues, and what related problems can be turned into potential opportunities
- Creating channel readiness, efficiency and acceleration for our solutions, including standardized approaches to training and sales enablement materials
- Conducting primary and secondary research to uncover and validate pain points, needs, and buyer content and interaction preferences during the buying process, and using these insights to create buyer personas and develop journey maps
- Conducting launch retrospectives to pause and reflect on what worked well and what can be improved
Qualifications
What you bring:
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with a sense of fun and adventure
- A minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Sales Enablement
- You are an eloquent storyteller with an ability to distill ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans, you'll use your communication and presentation skills to convey a clear, concise, compelling message
- A natural curiosity, eagerness to understand the “why”, and keenness to learn from others
- Known for having the empathy to see things from the customer’s perspective and a focus on how every decision impacts the customer experience
