Our Reliability Centre of Excellence is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to develop and drive critical business initiatives that directly enhance service reliability and improve the customer experience. This high-visibility role combines strategic planning, stakeholder leadership, and executive influence to define the future direction of our reliability initiatives. As a key leader, you'll partner with executives and stakeholders across the organization to shape strategic direction and optimize operations.

As a Senior Strategy Manager in our Reliability Centre of Excellence, you’ll shape strategies that strengthen service reliability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. By collaborating with senior leaders across Network, Systems, Operations, Finance, and more, you’ll drive initiatives that improve product delivery, uncover business insights, and deliver actionable recommendations aligned with our financial goals and long-term vision.


You’ll guide strategic discussions with executives, providing critical decision support through clear, compelling storytelling that influences business direction. With a strong grasp of our key performance indicators and priorities, you’ll build trusted partnerships across teams to anticipate opportunities, align initiatives, and ensure seamless execution. Your leadership will accelerate high-impact projects, enhance planning practices, and deliver measurable outcomes that advance our vision of proactive, reliable service for customers.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-changing environments and can drive clarity and result in key initiatives.

 

Here’s how

 

  • Strategic Planning: Design and execute strategic roadmaps, business transformation initiatives, and actionable plans that drive competitive advantage and measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively: Develop compelling executive communications, including narratives, presentations, briefing materials, and reports, to inform decisions and ensure leadership is fully prepared for internal and external engagements.
  • Lead and inspire: Lead and facilitate key business reviews, governance forums, and executive discussions, ensuring alignment on priorities, clear outcomes, and effective follow-through.
  • Process optimization: Drive operational improvements by streamlining processes, enhancing cross-functional communication, and leveraging digital tools, including identifying opportunities to apply AI for improved efficiency and decision-making.
  • Project Management support: Provide strategic counsel and project management support for cross-functional initiatives, including supporting teams on strategic projects and facilitating executive engagement across business units.
  • Program support: Monitor business performance through KPIs and strategic analysis (including occasional market research), providing actionable insights that guide strategy refinement and resource allocation .

Qualifications


What you bring

 

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or an internal strategy role.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives from concept to execution, delivering measurable business results and driving business transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated financial acumen and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights, business cases, and actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency with financial modeling, business case development, and KPI/metric design, connecting strategic initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with experience delivering clear, persuasive narratives to senior executives and building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience managing and executing large, complex projects, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, quickly assessing shifting priorities, navigating ambiguity, and pivoting strategies to drive meaningful outcomes in complex situations.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships across senior leadership and cross-functional teams, driving alignment and coordinated execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree is an asset.

Location:  Any major Canadian city

Salary Range:  $102,000-$154,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
