TELUS Business Customer Experience (BCX) Team has embarked on a transformational journey to a national approach for the processes across our end-to-end value chain. As part of the Business Strategy & Transformations business unit, the BCX Process Management Team (PMT) will drive the strategic direction needed by the business that will have a large impact on the BCX long term strategy of simplification and standardization of processes.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will take on the rewarding yet challenging role of enabling our BCX processes.
 

With our primary focus on the Small Medium Business (SMB) market segment, you will leverage your analytical skills to support decision-making and process improvement for our SMB Customers. Together we drive transformational change, as well as provide planning, governance and guidance to other team members. Further, your oversight will help ensure that the TELUS BCX Team achieves fulfillment efficiency through streamlined processes.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support our business by working directly with other members of the same team, other teams across multiple functions and leadership to understand, prioritize and collaborate in building the future state that will move our processes to a more simple and standard national approach. 
You will partner with the BCX stakeholders on business analysis activities to meet business and customer expectations that will drive improvements back into the BCX fulfillment value chain. Here's how

 

  • Develop and produce tangible plans based on required outcomes of projects to meet business requirements 
  • Successfully contribute to the launch of process improvements, by identifying the cost/benefit analysis, economic/ease modeling, as well as planning and implementation support
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques for data mining and data reporting to stakeholders through strong story-telling
  • Leverage TELUS’ application solutions to develop recommendations that meet or exceed business requirements
  • Lead with the transformation and implementation of change on an end-to-end basis
  • Takes ownership for large process-focused projects from concept to execution
  • Leads and facilitates meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve desired outcome
  • Responsible for Stakeholder engagement, project updates, process mapping, lead cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment and mitigation

3.Analytical Skills (attention to detail)
4.Process Analysis and redesign knowledge
5.Take current state and apply knowledge to achieve future state objectives
6.Interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem solving, and negotiation skills
7.Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology
8.Experience with the project development life-cycle

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • 7+ years of equivalent experience
  • Experience with Business Analysis, Process Management or Performance Analysis
  • Experience with reporting and data mining 
  • University Degree or Technical Diploma – asset or equivalent experience
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – asset or equivalent experience
