We're seeking a dynamic Strategy Manager to help support and evolve our prestigious TELUS Pre-Approved CPA Program. This role combines strategic talent development, operational excellence, and program innovation to shape the future of finance leadership at TELUS.

 

As Strategy Manager, you'll be instrumental in developing the next generation of finance leaders while contributing to TELUS's strategic objectives through talent development and organizational excellence.

 

What you will do


1. Strategic Program Leadership

 

  • Help drive the vision and execution of our three-year rotational CPA program across Vancouver, Edmonton, and Toronto
  • Develop strategic partnerships with finance leaders to ensure program alignment with business objectives

 

2. Talent Development & Mentorship

 

  • Orchestrate the mentorship program connecting CPA candidates with experienced TELUS Finance leaders
  • Oversee professional development initiatives, including CPA designation support
  • Create and implement career progression frameworks for program graduates

 

3.  Operational Excellence

 

  • Manage end-to-end program operations, including rotation assignments and transitions
  • Develop and track program KPIs and success metrics
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery

 

4.Recruitment & Talent Pipeline

 

  • Help define recruitment strategies to attract top finance talent
  • Partner with HR to enhance key candidate experiences
  • Develop innovative approaches to build and maintain talent pipeline
     

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in program management/operational support
  • Demonstrated experience in talent development or mentorship programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with exceptional organizational abilities

Salary Range:  $73,000-$109,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
