Our Care Centre is currently seeking a Team Manager of Clinical Operations. In this role, the manager will be responsible for coaching, performance, recognition and mentoring of 16-20 Team Members. This person will continue to work as a Medical Imaging Technologist and will lead by example in delivering exceptional care and customer service for our patients.

What you’ll do in this role:
- Build, lead, and manage a diverse Medical Imaging Technologist team, including recruitment, onboarding, talent decisions, performance management, resource management and career progression
- Guide collaborative efforts between teams with a strong focus on standardizing and documenting processes
- Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Safeguard and sustain the organization’s mission, vision, goals and values
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, staff, suppliers and other healthcare providers in the community
- Conduct and perform a wide range of high quality imaging procedures and responsibilities, including:
- Perform digital mammography examinations, including 2D and 3D tomosynthesis and diagnostic x-ray procedures.
- Perform radiological examinations according to prescriptions and protocols, while maintaining radiation safety standards in compliance with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) requirements.
- Receive and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining and reviewing case histories, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing any patient questions with empathy and expertise.
- Verify and review images for technical accuracy and completeness, generate detailed technical worksheets, and collaborate directly with radiologists to ensure every imaging procedure meets diagnostic requirements.
- Perform certain administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of breast imaging through continuing education and professional certifications as required.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care, workflow efficiency, and optimize clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of digital mammography experience
- Proven leadership skills, including: team building, results, driven, accountability dexterity, and the strength and aptitude to empower others

- Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, consider big picture
- Problem solver: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a capacity for critical thinking
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Natural Organizer: Excellent organizational skills including staff scheduling, meeting agenda management, meeting minutes & action item designation & follow-up, with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines
- Innovator: Not tied to doing things the way they have always been done; always looking for new and better ways to do things
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from an accredited institution and are certified in mammography by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Demonstrated expertise applying the CAMRT standards of practice and relevant national guidelines for Medical Radiation Technologists
- Experience in breast ultrasound procedures
- Possess advanced proficiency with EMR and PACS/Radiology Information Systems, including digital imaging, archiving, and retrieval, as well as standard workplace technology
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR training) for healthcare providers certification
Great-to-haves:
- Experience in ultrasound-guided breast interventional procedures would be considered an asset
