The National Solutions Delivery (NSD) team operates in an exceptional work environment. This team leads the integration, development, and support of technologies, processes and systems, striving to exceed the expectations of Business Solutions’ customers.

As Technology Consultant within the NSD team, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of a roadmap designed to effectively address the technology challenges faced by our customers.

 

These challenges drive us to innovate and provide deliverables offering highly efficient and agile solutions to clients.

 

Here’s how

 

  • The NSD Technology Consultant will provide IT leadership and support to our clients.
  • He/she will support the leadership team in achieving the business goals of regional empowerment, central governance and strategy to deliver an integrated national service model.
  • The Technology Consultant will be responsible for Wireless software loading, controler & AP support, system monitoring and network performance:
  • Support the leadership team to achieve the business goals of regional empowerment, central governance and strategy to provide an integrated national delivery model
  • You will need to analyze and program some of the solutions as needed
  • Perform the administration and keep up to date the controlers that are used for these turnkey solutions. Review distributed AP and networking concepts to select appropriate operational support strategies and ensure efficient use of resources 

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring 

 

  • Expertise/experience in the Cisco Catalyst 9800 series
  • Experience/experience with Cisco IOS XE software
  • Knowledge of wireless best practices for the 9800 controllers
  • Designing and deploying Cisco 9800 series wireless networks
  • Upgrading legacy WLCs to the 9800 series
  • Configuring Profiles and Tags, which are unique to each deployment
  • Ensuring "always-on" and secure wireless networks
  • Troubleshooting and managing the wireless infrastructure

 

Great-to-haves 

 

  • CCNA Wireless certification 

 

 

Salary Range:  $82,000-$122,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
