Welcome to Xray 505, a premier medical imaging facility now part of the TELUS Health family. We are an accredited diagnostic imaging clinic specializing in personalized breast health care for women, offering a comprehensive range of advanced imaging services. Our clinic combines cutting-edge diagnostic technology with a deep commitment to exceptional patient service, delivering efficient, high-quality care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As an Ultrasound Technologist at Xray 505, you'll be a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, performing specialized ultrasound procedures that directly inform patient care and health outcomes. You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment, partnering with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver the high-quality diagnostic imaging our patients depend on.

You'll contribute to our mission of making advanced diagnostic imaging accessible and improving health experiences for patients across the region, with a special focus on women's breast health and comprehensive imaging services. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you'll perform a variety of ultrasound examinations (breast, abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, and superficial soft tissue masses) while observing rigorous patient safety practices. You'll also liaise with clinic staff, physicians, and administrators to ensure effective delivery of our services in our busy, multifaceted imaging center.
Qualifications
What you bring
- CMRITO registration in good standing
- Sonography Canada registration in good standing
- Completion of a recognized post-diploma sonography program (or equivalent credentials)
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing abdominal and pelvic ultrasound examinations
- CPR and WHMIS certification(s) (this would be an asset)
- Prior experience with PACS, Esaote and GE ultrasound equipment (this would be an asset)
- Effective decision making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a dynamic team
- Commitment to providing high quality patient care and customer service
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work well under pressure
