Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

 

As a Senior Product Owner for the API Digital Commerce Team, you will help manage the API product backlog focused on supporting the outcome teams in delivering best in class experiences for our customers, creating a digital commerce experience for internet, TV, Home Phone and Home Security Services that helps simplify the lives of our customers. You will work closely with your squad that consists of Tech Leads, Developers, Testers, Scrum Master and Business System Analyst(s).

 

You’ll regularly refine and adjust your backlog to reflect the accurate scope, effort, and priority as it becomes available from stakeholders.

 

Here’s how

 

  • Provide the product vision, direction, and measurement strategy to the API team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including other product owners, product managers, and agile teams, to build and manage new features and capabilities while delivering desired business impact
  • Define the product roadmap and opportunities to improve the performance and reliability of our APIs
  • Collaborate with our partners throughout the business to align roadmaps & priorities
  • Ensure a customer-first design approach is intact, addressing customer pain points & leveraging usability test results
  • Manage the backlog, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories with proper acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team
  • Celebrate the outcomes and demonstrate the benefits of the work your team has achieved
  • Closely partner with Tech Lead and Architect to ensure a sound technical architecture is in place

 

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and organizational transformation skills
  • 3-5 years of product management/ownership of customer-facing products/applications
  • Ability to interoperate between technical product teams, design teams, and business strategists
  • Experience working in a Lean and Agile environment
  • Ability to communicate using a storytelling approach on complex concepts, as well as explaining tradeoffs
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business - building trust and strong rapport across the business is fundamental
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think strategically

 

Nice-to-haves

 

  • Working knowledge of e-commerce and related applications
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and ambiguous environment with the ability to prioritize work and create clarity
  • Familiar with tools such as Jira, Postman, Dynatrace, Google Console Logs
  • Relevant certification or designation, such as CSPO, A-CSPO, CSP, PSPO, PMI-ACP or Pragmatic Certifications
