We're seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Product Manager to lead the system changes supporting our TV platform migration execution and records cleanup initiatives. You will drive the full lifecycle — from problem identification through solution design, delivery, and team enablement — while overseeing migration workstreams and consolidating cross-functional action plans. This is a high-impact role at the heart of TELUS's most critical video transformation initiative.
- Drive Migration Success – Lead the migration of existing TV customers to TELUS's newest TV platform with minimal disruption and maximum customer satisfaction
- Own Problem-to-Solution – Identify system gaps, define business requirements, and design scalable solutions end-to-end
- Orchestrate Workstreams – Oversee multiple migration workstreams and align cross-functional teams on consolidated action plans
- Records Integrity – Champion records cleanup initiatives to ensure data accuracy and system readiness for migration
- Enable Teams – Deliver enablement programs so product, engineering, and operations teams are migration-ready
- Data-Driven Decisions – Transform complex migration data into actionable insights that guide product and delivery decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Migration Leadership – Lead end-to-end system changes supporting the migration of TV customers to the newest TELUS TV platform, from scoping through delivery and post-launch stabilization
- Business Requirements Definition – Translate migration objectives and operational needs into clear, actionable business and system requirements for engineering and delivery teams
- Records Cleanup Oversight – Identify data integrity issues, define cleanup strategies, and coordinate execution across systems to ensure migration readiness
- Cross-Functional Program Management – Consolidate and manage cross-functional action plans, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, operations, and frontline teams
- Workstream Governance – Oversee multiple concurrent migration workstreams, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies with rigorous program management discipline
- Enablement & Change Management – Develop and deliver enablement materials, training, and communications to support smooth adoption of new platform capabilities
- Performance & Analytics – Define and track migration KPIs, build dashboards, and provide regular executive-level reporting on progress and risks
- Root Cause Analysis – Lead data-driven analysis of migration blockers and system issues, driving proactive resolution and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, program management, or a related role within a telecommunications or technology environment
- Demonstrated experience with TELUS Video products or equivalent TV/video platform ecosystems
- Proven ability to define and document business requirements for complex system changes
- Strong program management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience leading system migrations or large-scale platform transitions
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience building dashboards and migration performance reporting

- Data Migration Experience – Previous large-scale data or platform migrations

- Executive Storytelling – Ability to communicate complex initiatives to senior leadership
- Risk Management – Proactive identification and mitigation of program risks
- Lean / Six Sigma – Process improvement methodologies
- Cross-functional Leadership – Experience leading teams without direct authority
