Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle with your…
- Previous experience providing exceptional customer service
- You're comfortable with solutions based selling, recommending products to your customers and up-selling TELUS services and products
- You are bondable (a security clearance and criminal record check is required)
- Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's License without GDL or restrictions - or other provincial equivalent, a driver’s abstract will be required
- Normal colour vision which is required to work with color-coded wiring
- You can handle a physically demanding workload which includes heavy lifting, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions
- You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders along with working on man lifts and scissor lifts
- Flexibility to work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs
- Willingness to support our customers in various areas in Winnipeg when needed
- Fluency in English, with proven professional oral and written communications skills, proficiency in other languages would be a bonus
- Pro-activeness, demonstrated effective decision-making skills and can work with limited supervision
- Ability to plan, prioritize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and effectively work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
- Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations
- Strong computer skills

- Security Systems Technician Trades Qualified (TQ) certification is an asset
- Previous security alarm installation experience is an asset
