TELUS Business Solutions is looking for a Senior Consultant, in Complex Solutions, who will be responsible for obtaining the best possible results during complex bids.
What you’ll do
- Analyze complex needs through research while taking industry best practices into account in order to define technological orientations and strategies to adopt that will then be developed under a new contract
- Represent TELUS’s interests in the evaluation of solutions and strategies put forward in winning bids
- Be responsible for analyzing client requirements and aligning internal agreements in accordance with the approval process, particularly as they relate to the delivery and operations teams
- Lead cross-functional meetings with team members and leadership staff
- Evaluate internal and external resources for use in the execution of projects and operation of services
- Adhere to internal governance guidelines and support their application
- Maintain relationships with the internal teams to stay up to date on the latest products and services
- Routinely reassess our ways of doing things to optimize how our results are evaluated in terms of costs, quality and timelines in order to design competitive solutions that also respond to the needs of the current market
- Develop and maintain a customer-based approach at all times, and build strong, professional relationships with internal and external clients by providing quality service, assistance, information and advice to ensure their satisfaction
Qualifications
What you bring
- Knowledge, skills, abilities (KSA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- Leadership abilities and excellent organization and planning skills for managing multiple projects
- The ability to take leadership in recommending action plans during complex negotiations
- Experience in solution management while leading large operations and multi-disciplinary teams and demonstrating business sense in a budget management context
- Project management, collaboration and problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to document business solutions based on hypotheses and risk assessment
- Ability to present the cost analysis to management and internal stakeholders in writing and verbally
- Knowledge of Operations and/or implementing TELUS’s wireline or non-wireline services
Education, professional accreditation or certification
- Post-secondary degree/certification in IT, engineering, business or an equivalent combination of studies and experience (5 to 7 years)
- University degree or 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of successful experience as a Business Analyst (BA)
- 5 or more years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of ITIL 4
