As a Senior Program Manager, you will act as a service designer and product owner, responsible for the development and execution of innovative services that meet the needs of our clients and enhance their overall experience. This position is focused on services delivered through our network of Care Centre clinics which offer in person and virtual care services across a broad range of disciplines.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect requirements, conduct research, and develop service design strategies that align with business goals. 


As an expert in navigating the regulatory landscape, your performance with service launches relies on tenacity, innovation and flawless execution. We are looking for well-rounded individuals who like to wear multiple hats, think big, but are equally happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
 

Here’s how

 

  • Develop, secure support, implement and articulate a differentiated product strategy and tactics related to pricing, bundling, positioning, product lifecycle, placement, promotion, partnerships, channel compensation recommendations and service guidelines
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, understand business needs and know how to navigate through diverse domains of applications, infrastructure, privacy and security
  • Establish, secure and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and emerging players in the healthcare and wellness industry, including start-ups, research institutions, and technology providers
  • Manage the market and financial performance of existing and/or new products (including Revenue, Customer deal criteria/standards, Operating Profit, Free Cash Flow, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Discounted Payback, and Return on Investment and accountability for P&L)
  • Use primary and secondary market research and competitive landscape research to recommend solutions to better support and/or reposition existing or new product offerings 
  • Analyze and anticipate market, client, regulatory and technology trends; create business plans and present recommendations to senior leaders
  • In collaboration with the sales and business development teams, identify new markets and appropriate partners to advance and win new business opportunities
  • Lead and collaborate on cross-functional teams across all business units to manage margin, enable product/service delivery, improve methods to better support product, and support the delivery of integrated customer solutions
  • Develop, own and maintain a product roadmap and business requirements through the understanding of market, customer, regulatory and technology trends

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare related service or product development 
  • Highly creative with a knack for developing clear and concise communications whether that be through Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint, Word, GSuite Tools or during live presentations
  • Innately curious with a strong drive to dive into the unknown; secretly, you probably like to think of yourself as something of a detective
  • Naturally hypothesis driven and highly proficient in using data to test ideas and develop insights that lead to winning decisions
  • Strong leadership skills, including but not limited to building relationships and change management, working through influence, facilitation, and developing and actioning strategy
  • Deep knowledge of financial concepts including revenue, costs and profitability
  • Understanding of Agile product management principles 
  • University Degree in Science, Computer Science or Business Administration - MBA is an asset
  • Bilingual English/French considered an asset

Salary Range:  $94,000-$140,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
